Bill Hoffman - Chairman

Mr. Hoffman is a co-founding Principal of Apollo. From 1992 to 2002, Mr. Hoffman practiced law. He was the Managing Partner of Hoffman & Hoffman where he specialized in aviation, and at Arthur Moller, P.A. From 1986 to 1992, Mr. Hoffman was a Commercial Lending Officer and Credit Administrator with Plaza Bank of Miami. Mr. Hoffman holds a JD, cum laude, from the University of Miami and a Masters of Science in Finance and a BBA from Florida International University.
Robert Korn - President
Miami
Mr. Korn is a co-founding Principal of Apollo. Mr. Korn has over 15 years of experience in the aviation industry with a background that includes a position at Pegasus Aviation, where he was Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Pegasus, he was Director of Sales and Marketing at BF Goodrich (formerly Rohr) responsible for worldwide marketing and sales for its Super 27 Program along with corporate treasury and cash management positions. Mr. Korn holds a MBA in Finance from the University of San Diego and a BA in Economics from UCLA.
David Treitel - Managing Director
Miami
Mr. Treitel joined Apollo in 2010. Mr. Treitel was formerly Chairman, CEO and President of SH&E, Inc., the world’s largest aviation consultancy. Mr. Treitel was also Co-Chair of the Energy, Climate and Transportation Practice of ICF International; a NASDAQ listed consulting company that owns SH&E, Inc. In addition, Mr. Treitel is a Trustee of four aircraft leasing securitizations known as AFT, LIFT, Castle 2003-1 and Castle 2003-2. Mr. Treitel was formerly a member of the Board of Directors of TransDigm, Inc. and Midwest Express Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Midwest Express Airlines. Mr. Treitel is a Trustee of the ISTAT Foundation and a former Governor of the Wings Club. Mr. Treitel holds a MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Middlebury College.
Mark Brown - SVP Asset Trading
Miami
Mr. Brown joined Apollo in 2003 and has over 18 years experience in commercial aviation. Mr. Brown’s background includes engine MRO, project and sales experience in P&W, CFMI and GE engine types. Mr. Brown previously held positions in sales and management at Amtec, AvTeam, AeroThrust, Aviall, UTL Corp. and LTV Aircraft Products Group. Mr. Brown holds a BS in Engineering Management from the University of Texas, Austin.
Robert Taylor - VP Technical
Miami
Mr. Taylor joined Apollo in 2007. Mr. Taylor has over 30 years of aviation technical experience. Prior to Apollo Aviation, Mr. Taylor was Managing Director – Aviation for S.E.B. Corporation managing its fleets of corporate aircraft. From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Taylor was employed at WestJet Airlines in Canada, last holding the position of Director of Technical Services and Purchasing. Mr. Taylor has also held positions at Turbowest Helicopters, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Canadian Airlines International.
Gerry Butler - VP Origination
Dublin
Mr. Butler joined Apollo in 2008 from Global Aircraft Asset Management (Private), where he was Head of Origination. Prior to joining GAAM, Mr. Butler had spent over 5 years with RBS Aviation Capital and Structured Asset Finance based in Dublin, New York and London. From 1997 to 2002, Mr. Butler had several roles in Irish Life & Permanent Finance Teams. He holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin.
Javier Meireles - VP Finance
Miami
Mr. Meireles joined Apollo in 2010 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he was an Audit Manager. Mr. Meireles worked with PwC for seven years and his industry focus was public registrants, particularly in the transportation and logistics industry. Mr. Meireles played an integral role in supporting his clients with public debt offerings, SEC comment letters and technical accounting matters. Mr. Meireles has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Masters of Accountancy from Florida International University. Mr. Meireles is a licensed CPA in the state of Florida and a member of the FICPA and AICPA.
Hector Figueras - Controller
Miami
Mr. Figueras joined Apollo in 2004 as Controller. Mr. Figueras has over 30 years of experience, including finance at various Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Apollo Aviation, Mr. Figueras held positions in the accounting department of Kraft Foods, Denrich Leasing, Viacom and 180 Connect, Inc., among others. Mr. Figueras’ primary responsibility is the daily operations of the accounting department. Mr. Figueras holds a BBA Accounting from the University of Miami.
Patrice Robinet - General Counsel
Miami
Mr. Robinet joined Apollo in 2010. Prior to coming to Apollo, Mr. Robinet served as General Counsel of Arrow Cargo, a US Part 121 air cargo carrier based in Miami, advising the management team in connection with corporate, transactional, regulatory and litigation matters. Prior to joining Arrow Cargo, Mr. Robinet spent over five years in the corporate and securities group of Greenberg Traurig, an international law firm with headquarters in Miami. At Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Robinet advised clients in connection with the acquisition, financing and disposition of billions of dollars’ worth of aviation assets and a number of M&A matters. Mr. Robinet holds a JD from Cardozo School of Law and an LLM in Tax from the University of Miami School of Law.
Elvis Lee - VP Asia
Singapore
Mr. Lee joined Apollo in 2008 and has over 28 years of technical and commercial aviation experience. Mr. Lee’s background includes engineering in the Republic of Singapore’s Air Force. He was also a Customer Support Manager for Weber Aircraft Inc.. Prior to joining Apollo Aviation, Mr. Lee was Regional Sales Director of Asia-Pacific Rim for Telair International GmbH, where he was responsible for the marketing and sales of new / program retrofit of B747-400 and B767-300 freighter aircraft cargo handling systems. Mr. Lee earned a Diploma from Singapore Polytechnic with graduate studies in Business Administration.
Marcus Miller - Contracts Manager
Dublin
Mr. Miller joined Apollo in 2008. Prior to Apollo, KPMG employed Mr. Miller where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007. Mr. Miller holds a BMus from University College Dublin and a HDip BS(IT) and MiM from University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
