Apollo also creates value for its investors by actively managing investments in used commercial aircraft and engines. We seek and often find trades that enhance the returns from individual investments. Such trades often build on other Apollo skills such as our technical knowledge, market reach and deep understanding of airline requirements.
Trading flight equipment is a core Apollo activity. Although we maintain strict discipline and institutional controls, we have streamlined processes that allow us to act quickly to capitalize on the trading opportunities that we find.
